About me
I’m Nicholas Pung, a full-stack software developer and former AWS Solutions Architect. I build practical applications with thoughtful interfaces.
At AWS, I specialized in Amazon Connect and helped enterprise customers plan contact center migrations. I later helped build an internal demo platform that grew from about 100 users to more than 8,000 across AWS and its partners, with over 36,000 demo plays by the time I left. I developed, reviewed, or supported approximately 90% of the demos on the platform.
Today, I’m exploring how AI agents can help build and maintain applications from idea to production. My main project, Productivity, brings my personal applications into one repository. I also built Yummy Recs, a recommendation network for restaurant dishes based on individual tastes.
Background
My path into software began at Impact Theory, where I built a Python tool using the Google Maps API to find comic book retailers. That project led me to pursue software development in 2019, followed by roles at Vegas.com, Blueberry Medical, and AWS.
Outside software, I’m interested in nutrition and philosophy. I’m looking for an opportunity to build useful products with a team whose work I find meaningful.
